The True TGN-1R-1G TGN-Series reach-in refrigerator maintains cabinet temperatures from 33°F to 38°F using a self-contained capillary tube system with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors provide consistent airflow while producing less heat. The bottom-mounted condensing unit raises the lower shelf for access and permits storage above the cabinet. Automatic defrost is time-initiated and temperature-terminated. True’s reverse condensing unit technology reverses condenser fan direction at startup to help remove dirt and debris from the coil. The exterior combines a stainless steel front, aluminum ends, and corrosion-resistant GalFan-coated steel back and top.

The interior features a clear-coated aluminum liner and a stainless steel floor with coved corners. The cabinet is insulated with foamed-in-place, high-density polyurethane. A Low-E, double-pane thermal glass door with an extruded aluminum frame provides visibility into the cabinet. The self-closing door includes a standard barrel lock, a 15" heavy-duty extruded handle, field-reversible hinging, and a one-piece magnetic gasket removable without tools. A Gastronorm dual slide system includes three gray wire shelves and accommodates 12" × 20" pans.
