The True STR1F-2HS-HC SPEC SERIES freezer features a single-section cabinet with two solid half swing doors and top-mounted refrigeration. Its self-contained expansion valve (TXV) system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain -10°F for frozen foods and ice cream. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors provide consistent airflow while reducing heat production and energy consumption. The evaporator is positioned outside the food zone to maximize storage space. Automatic defrost is time initiated and temperature terminated, with an automatic evaporator fan delay during the defrost cycle.

The exterior doors, front, and sides are stainless steel, as are the interior side walls, back, floor, door liner, and ceiling. High-density polyurethane insulation is foamed into the cabinet and solid doors. Positive-seal doors close automatically and feature a 120° stay-open position for loading. Lifetime-guaranteed components include bolt-style locks, heavy-duty metal handles, and external cam-lift hinges. One-piece magnetic door gaskets remove without tools for cleaning. Safety-shielded LED lighting illuminates the interior, while an exterior digital display shows temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. One factory-installed interior kit option is included per full section. An epoxy-coated evaporator helps resist corrosion, and 5" plate casters with front locks support cabinet mobility.
