The True STR1F-2HG-HC SPEC SERIES freezer features a single-section cabinet with two glass half swing doors and top-mounted refrigeration. Its self-contained expansion valve (TXV) system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain -10°F for frozen foods and ice cream. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors provide consistent airflow while reducing heat production and energy consumption. The evaporator is positioned outside the food zone to maximize storage space. Automatic defrost is time initiated and temperature terminated, with an automatic evaporator fan delay during the defrost cycle.

Stainless steel exterior construction surrounds an interior with stainless steel side walls, back, floor, door liner, and ceiling. Triple-pane thermal glass doors with extruded aluminum frames provide visibility into the cabinet. The positive-seal doors close automatically and feature a 120° stay-open position. Lifetime-guaranteed components include bolt-style locks, heavy-duty metal handles, and external cam-lift hinges. One-piece magnetic door gaskets remove without tools for cleaning.
