The True STR1F-1S-HC SPEC SERIES freezer features a single-section cabinet with a solid swing door and top-mounted refrigeration. Its self-contained expansion valve (TXV) system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain -10°F for frozen foods and ice cream. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors provide consistent airflow while reducing heat production and energy consumption. The evaporator is positioned outside the food zone to maximize storage space. Automatic defrost is time initiated and temperature terminated, with an automatic evaporator fan delay during the defrost cycle.

The exterior door, front, and sides are stainless steel, as are the interior side walls, back, floor, door liner, and ceiling. High-density polyurethane insulation is foamed into the cabinet and solid door. The positive-seal door closes automatically and stays open at 120° for loading. Lifetime-guaranteed components include the bolt-style lock, heavy-duty metal handle, and external cam-lift hinges. One-piece magnetic door gaskets remove without tools for cleaning. Safety-shielded LED lighting illuminates the interior, while an exterior digital display shows temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
