The True STR1DTA-2HS-HC SPEC SERIES refrigerator/freezer combines refrigerated and frozen storage in a single-section cabinet with two solid half swing doors. The top compartment is a freezer that maintains -10°F, while the bottom refrigerator maintains temperatures from 33°F to 38°F. Its self-contained expansion valve (TXV) refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors provide consistent airflow while reducing heat production and energy consumption. The refrigeration system is top mounted, with the evaporator positioned outside the food zone to maximize storage space.

Stainless steel doors, front, and sides surround an entirely stainless steel interior, including the side walls, back, floor, door liner, and ceiling. The cabinet and solid doors contain foamed-in-place, high-density polyurethane insulation. Positive-seal doors close automatically and feature a 120° stay-open position, bolt-style locks, heavy-duty metal handles, and external cam-lift hinges. Safety-shielded LED lighting illuminates the interior, and two exterior digital displays separately show refrigerator and freezer temperatures. The freezer includes automatic, time-initiated and time-terminated defrost with an evaporator fan delay. One interior kit option is included per full section.
