The True STR2F-2S-HC SPEC SERIES is a two-section reach-in freezer designed to maintain -10°F for storing frozen foods and ice cream. Its self-contained expansion valve refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, with electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors that provide consistent airflow while reducing heat production and energy consumption. The top-mounted refrigeration system positions the evaporator outside the food zone to maximize usable storage space. Automatic defrost is time-initiated and temperature-terminated, and an automatic evaporator fan motor delay operates during the defrost cycle. An exterior digital temperature display is available in °F or °C.

The cabinet features stainless steel doors, front, and exterior sides, with stainless steel interior side walls, back, floor, door liners, and ceiling. High-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation fills the cabinet structure and solid doors. One interior kit option is included per full section. The self-closing doors have a 120° stay-open feature, lifetime-guaranteed bolt-style locks, all-metal handles, and external cam-lift hinges. One-piece magnetic gaskets remove without tools for cleaning. Safety-shielded LED lighting illuminates the interior, while an epoxy-coated evaporator provides corrosion protection. Standard 5" plate castors include locks on the front set. The freezer includes a 9-foot cord and NEMA 5-15P plug for connection to a dedicated 115V, 15-amp outlet.
