The True STR2RRI-2G-HC SPEC SERIES roll-in refrigerator features two sections with glass swing doors and maintains cabinet temperatures of 33°F to 38°F. Its self-contained expansion valve refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, with electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors that provide consistent airflow while producing less heat and reducing energy consumption. The refrigeration system is top mounted, with the evaporator positioned outside the food zone to maximize usable cabinet space. An exterior digital temperature display provides readings in °F or °C, while safety-shielded LED lighting illuminates the interior.

The cabinet features stainless steel door construction, front, and exterior sides, together with stainless steel interior side walls, back, floor, door liner, and ceiling. The doors incorporate Low-E, double-pane thermal-insulated glass, and the cabinet structure uses high-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. It accommodates roll-in racks with inboard castors measuring up to 27" L × 29" D × 66" H; racks are supplied by others. A heavy-gauge stainless steel ramp provides access, and interior bumpers protect the cabinet walls from carts. Self-closing doors feature a 120° stay-open position, bolt-style locks, all-metal handles, and external cam-lift hinges.
