The True STR2FRI-2S-HC SPEC SERIES is a two-section roll-in freezer designed to maintain -10°F for frozen foods and ice cream. Its self-contained expansion valve refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, with an extra-large evaporator coil balanced with the compressor and condenser. Electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors provide consistent airflow while reducing heat production and energy consumption. The top-mounted refrigeration system positions the evaporator outside the food zone. Automatic defrost is time-initiated and temperature-terminated, with an automatic evaporator fan motor delay during the defrost cycle. An exterior digital temperature display is available in °F or °C.

The cabinet features stainless steel doors, front, and exterior sides, with stainless steel interior side walls, back, floor, door liners, and ceiling. High-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation fills the cabinet structure and solid doors. It accepts roll-in racks with inboard castors measuring up to 27"L × 29"D × 66"H; racks are supplied by others. Stainless steel ramp access supports loading, while interior bumpers protect cabinet walls from carts. Self-closing doors have a 120° stay-open feature, lifetime-guaranteed bolt-style locks, all-metal handles, and external cam-lift hinges. Removable magnetic gaskets, safety-shielded LED lighting, an epoxy-coated evaporator, and a backguard that improves airflow complete the cabinet’s standard equipment.
