The Turbo Air TST-28SD-N Super Deluxe Sandwich/Salad Unit is a compact and highly efficient solution designed for establishments with limited space or those in need of a versatile and mobile prep table. This one-section unit, measuring 7.0 cu. ft., features a stainless steel top with an 8-pan opening, providing ample space for efficient sandwich and salad preparation.

The stainless steel door, equipped with a recessed handle, opens to a refrigerated cabinet with 7 cu. ft. of storage space, offering convenient access to larger items. The cold bunker above holds 8 ⅙-size pans (included) and features a full-width high-density polyethylene cutting board (9-1/2" deep) for easy and sanitary food preparation. The cutting board is secured in place for stability and can be easily removed for cleaning.

The cold bunker is equipped with an insulated pan cover and a forced-air cooling system, ensuring optimal temperature maintenance (below 41°F) even with the pan cover open. The powerful forced-air cooling system creates a cold air-shield around the pans, preserving the freshness of ingredients.

The interior of the unit is constructed with stainless steel for durability, and an ABS door liner adds to the robust design. A stainless steel wire shelf maximizes storage space inside the cabinet. The unit is equipped with a hot gas condensate system and a self-contained rear-mounted refrigeration system that operates on eco-friendly R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant.

The energy-efficient 1/5 HP compressor, drawing only 2.8 amps of standard 115v/60/1-ph power, ensures reliable cooling performance. The self-cleaning condenser, a patented feature by Turbo Air, prevents dust and debris buildup, reducing downtime, labor costs, and service calls while extending the service life of the refrigeration system.

Cold Bunker system
Our innovative forced air system allows cold air to flow all around the food pan area, covering not only underneath the pan, but also the front, top and the rear. This unique air flow creates a cold air-shield around the pan, which maintains the food temperature at under 41°F (NSF requirement) even when the lids are opened. In addition, the compartment isolates pans from the reach-in area to prevent food spillage.

LED interior lighting & fan control
Energy efficient LED lighting lights every corner, making items easy to find. Fan control function automatically shuts off the fan when the door is open, which prevents hot air from being drawn in, thus maintaining the cool inner temperature.
