To enhance performance and longevity, the compressor's fan motor includes an automatic self-cleaning feature that removes buildup from the condensing coil. Upon startup, the motor runs in reverse for 20 seconds, effectively blowing away dirt, dust, and debris from the coil. While this feature significantly improves efficiency, it is most effective when complemented with regular preventive maintenance routines.
Conveniently located behind the front grille, the condensing unit slides out for easy access during cleaning.
