Cleaning the interior is convenient due to the coved corners in the stainless steel floor, while the clear aluminum liner ensures a hygienic storage environment. The exterior is constructed with a combination of stainless steel and GalFan-coated steel, providing strength and durability.
The refrigeration system of the True TUC-27-HC is accessible from the rear, and it utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant in its capillary tube system to maintain temperatures within the range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The evaporator is protected with an epoxy coating for enhanced durability. The evaporator and condenser fan motors are designed to ensure a consistent airflow, promoting even temperatures throughout the cabinet.
Upon powering on, the compressor's fan motor automatically reverses for 20 seconds to blow debris and dust off the condenser coil. This self-cleaning feature helps improve efficiency and prolong the unit's lifespan by preventing buildup. Despite this feature, routine preventive maintenance is still essential for ensuring optimal performance over time.
