The evaporator is coated in epoxy, and the unit features a self-contained condensate pan, eliminating the need for an external drain. Accessibility is enhanced by the rear-sliding condensing unit.
To maintain efficient operation, the condensing fan motor operates in reverse for 20 seconds when the compressor cycles on, removing buildup, debris, and settled dust from the condensing coil. This helps the coil operate more efficiently, using less energy and potentially extending the unit's lifespan. Regular preventive maintenance is recommended to ensure the proper functioning of the coil.
