The reinforced floor, supported by floor racks, prevents bending and warping. The stainless steel construction of the floor and walls provides resistance to rust, scratching, and denting. The integrated drain in the floor facilitates easy cleaning by allowing users to rinse the cabinet.

Access to the cartons inside the cooler is provided through the stainless steel doors—one that flips up on the top and one that drops down on the side. The condensing coil is automatically cleaned by the condensing fan motor, which blows in a reverse direction for 20 seconds when the compressor is turned on. This mechanism helps remove debris and dirt, reducing energy use and enhancing the coil's efficiency. It is designed to complement preventive maintenance practices.

The True TMC-49-SS-HC milk cooler employs forced-air refrigeration, utilizing efficient motors in the fans to evenly distribute cold air throughout the cabinet. The temperature can be set by the operator within the range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. An external digital display allows users to monitor and ensure the correct temperature level. The condenser, located at the rear, can be accessed with its slide-out design, facilitating maintenance.
