To achieve efficient cooling, the self-contained capillary tube system of the True TD-24-7-S-HC utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, with a factory-balanced high-capacity refrigeration system maintaining temperatures between 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors ensure a consistent volume of air movement, reducing both energy consumption and heat production. Maintenance is made convenient with the slide-out condensing unit accessible from behind.

For optimal performance and extended unit life, the fan motor briefly reverses direction for 20 seconds upon compressor startup, effectively clearing dust and debris from the condensing coil. This automatic cleaning feature contributes to maintaining accurate product temperatures and prolonging the unit's overall lifespan. While this technology is effective, routine preventative maintenance by employees is recommended for the best results.
