Inside, the glass chiller is equipped with three PVC-coated wire shelves, providing ample space to accommodate either (172) 10-ounce stein mugs or (180) 8-inch mugs. To ensure optimal chilling performance, the unit employs a self-contained capillary tube system utilizing R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, capable of maintaining mugs at or below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The automatic defrost cycle adds convenience, activating at scheduled intervals and halting when a specific temperature is reached.
For easy servicing, the condensing unit of the True T-36-GC-S-HC glass chiller is designed to slide out, facilitating access. The electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors contribute to energy efficiency, minimizing both energy consumption and heat production while ensuring effective air distribution.
Incorporating a self-cleaning mechanism, the fan motor runs in reverse mode for 20 seconds at each startup, effectively removing excess dust, dirt, and debris from the condenser coil. Regular cleaning of the coil enhances system efficiency, reduces energy consumption, and maintains consistent product temperatures, ultimately prolonging the system's lifespan. However, it is essential to emphasize that while these benefits are significant, routine preventative maintenance and cleaning remain integral for sustained optimal performance.
