The True STG1RRT89-1S-1S-HC SPEC SERIES refrigerator features a one-section roll-thru design with solid front and rear swing doors. Its exterior has stainless steel doors with matching aluminum sides, while the interior features aluminum side walls and back with a stainless steel floor and ceiling. Two heavy-gauge stainless steel ramps, one per door, accommodate roll-in racks with inboard casters measuring up to 27"L × 29"D × 72"H. Racks are supplied separately by others.

The factory-engineered, self-contained expansion valve (TXV) refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. An extra-large evaporator coil, higher-horsepower compressor, and large condenser maintain cabinet temperatures between 33°F and 38°F. Sealed, self-lubricating cast-iron evaporator fan motors and larger fan blades provide low-velocity, high-volume airflow for faster temperature recovery and shorter run times. The top-mounted system positions the evaporator outside the food zone.

High-density polyurethane insulation fills the cabinet and solid doors. Self-closing doors feature a 120° stay-open function, lifetime-guaranteed cam-lift hinges, metal handles, and bolt-style locks. Magnetic door gaskets are removable without tools, and the hinges are field reversible. Interior bumpers protect the cabinet walls from roll-in carts.
