The Hatco CSSBX Series Remote Cold Built-In Simulated Stone Shelves are designed to provide attractive refrigerated food presentation while allowing integration with remote refrigeration systems supplied by others. Ideal for buffet counters, cafeterias, restaurants, and foodservice serving lines, these built-in shelves deliver a clean flush-mount appearance while maintaining chilled holding performance for cold food applications.
Constructed with durable foodsafe simulated stone surfaces, the CSSBX series offers both operational performance and design flexibility for fabricators and commercial installations. These models are available in multiple Swanstone® finishes and are engineered with a patented thermal break system to help minimize condensation and temperature transfer to surrounding countertop areas.
CSSBX units are supplied without a condenser, allowing operators and fabricators to integrate the shelves into custom remote refrigeration systems using other refrigerants. Each model includes an unattached electronic temperature control box, shelf assembly with temperature probe, unattached TXV valve, and a liquid line solenoid valve attached to the shelf for efficient refrigeration integration. Designed for coordinated serving line aesthetics, the CSSBX series also matches Hatco GRSSB Glo-Ray® Built-In Heated Simulated Stone Shelves for a fully integrated appearance.
