The Turbo Air TST-36SD-N6 Super Deluxe Sandwich/Salad Unit is a versatile and efficient solution designed for small to mid-size establishments. This two-section unit, with a total of 11.0 cu. ft. of space, features a stainless steel top with a 10-pan opening, providing ample space for salad and sandwich preparation.

The full-width cold bunker above holds 10 ⅙-size pans and is equipped with an insulated cover and a powerful forced-air cooling system, ensuring temperatures below 41°F to meet NSF requirements. The forced-air system creates a cold air-shield, maintaining the desired temperature even with the insulated pan cover open. A ½” thick polyethylene cutting board, running the full width of the prep table, provides an ideal work surface for salad and sandwich preparation. The cutting board is fixed in place but easily removable for cleaning.

The reach-in cabinets below, each with a stainless steel door and foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, maintain an interior temperature between 33°F and 39°F for optimal food preservation. Sturdy stainless steel shelves in each cabinet maximize storage space, and LED lighting at each corner facilitates easy item location.

The refrigeration system is powered by an efficient 1/5 HP compressor unit using environmentally friendly hydrocarbon R-290 refrigerant. This refrigerant is ozone-safe with minimal greenhouse gas emissions. Turbo Air's patented self-cleaning condenser technology, featuring a rotating brush, keeps the condenser clean without downtime or additional labor costs, ensuring efficient airflow and thermal exchange.

With a 108” power cable, the unit is easy to connect to a standard 115v/60/1-ph electrical power source, drawing 2.9 amps of current. The included 4” swivel casters enhance portability, allowing the unit to be moved effortlessly within the kitchen space. Self-Cleaning Condenser

Hydrocarbon refrigerants (R-290)
With innovative and eco-friendly technology, Turbo Air brings you hydrocarbon refrigerators designed to meet DOE’s Energy Conservation Standards in 2017 and to use EPA’s SNAP Program approved HC refrigerants. Hydrocarbon refrigerants do not deplete the ozone layer and have very low contribution to global warming (ODP-0, GWP-3).

Cold Bunker system
Our innovative forced air system allows cold air to flow all around the food pan area, covering not only underneath the pan, but also the front, top and the rear. This unique air flow creates a cold air-shield around the pan, which maintains the food temperature at under 41°F (NSF requirement) even when the lids are opened. In addition, the compartment isolates pans from the reach-in area to prevent food spillage.

LED interior lighting & fan control
Energy efficient LED lighting lights every corner, making items easy to find. Fan control function automatically shuts off the fan when the door is open, which prevents hot air from being drawn in, thus maintaining the cool inner temperature.

Stainless steel cabinet construction
The Turbo Air Super Deluxe model boasts a stainless steel interior (ABS door liner) and exterior (galvanized steel back & bottom). It guarantees the utmost in cleanliness and long product life. The Super Deluxe adds a touch of style to the most refined setting.

Sturdy, clean stainless steel shelving
