Its robust construction includes a front, top, drawers, and ends made of durable stainless steel, while the back is composed of corrosion-resistant GalFan®-coated steel. This thoughtful design ensures both durability and functionality.

The freezer's two drawers are skillfully positioned on heavy-duty stainless steel slides and rollers, ensuring smooth opening and closing. For added security and an airtight seal, the drawers are equipped with removable magnetic gaskets. Each drawer is designed to accommodate a full-size food pan, with the flexibility to support various pan sizes using divider bars (available separately).

Operating with a self-contained freezer system, the True TUC-27F-D-2-HC maintains a drawer temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring the safe storage of frozen foods. To minimize temperature fluctuations, both drawers and the cabinet are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation. Enhancing efficiency, the electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors move a consistent volume of air, reducing heat production and energy usage for improved motor reliability. Operators have the flexibility to set times and temperatures for an automatic defrost cycle, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual removal of ice that could potentially damage stored products.
