The True TMC-49-S-DS-HC milk cooler, boasting a capacity for 12 standard milk crates, is designed for efficiency with dual access features, incorporating a drop-front door and flip-up door on each side. This unique design allows the unit to serve two lines simultaneously. To prevent dents and cushion the impact when doors swing against the exterior, bumpers are strategically placed. The exterior of the unit is constructed with durable stainless steel, capable of withstanding heavy-duty foot traffic and high-volume use. Meanwhile, the interior is equipped with a clear-coated aluminum liner and heavy-duty floor racks.

The forced-air refrigeration system in this unit utilizes a capillary tube and R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to consistently maintain the selected temperature for stored contents, offering a temperature range between 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Effective insulation is ensured by polyurethane insulation in the walls and magnetic gaskets lining the door frames, retaining cold air within the cabinet. The external display allows for easy temperature monitoring, and the condenser can be accessed by sliding it out from the back of the True TMC-49-S-DS-HC milk cooler.

To enhance unit operation over time, the condensing fan motor plays a role in cleaning off the condensing coil by blowing air at the coil for 20 seconds upon compressor start-up. This mechanism aids in eliminating the buildup of debris, dust, and dirt, contributing to the efficient operation of the coil. Regular monitoring through preventive maintenance is recommended to ensure continued proper functioning of the coil.
