The True TDD-2-HC draft beer system offers the capability to simultaneously serve two different types of beer, accommodating two half-barrel kegs. Dispensing from two stainless steel, insulated towers, the system incorporates a mechanism for cold air circulation to prevent excessive foam during dispensing. To safeguard the interior during keg loading and unloading, the stainless steel floor features a 1/2-inch reinforced lip and a door threshold protector. The unit's structural integrity is reinforced by a steel frame rail, complemented by foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation.
Interior illumination is provided by energy-efficient LED lighting in the True TDD-2-HC. For user convenience, each of the two doors is equipped with a 12-inch recessed handle, while gaskets surrounding the doors prevent the ingress of heat. Maintenance is facilitated by the removable front grill, revealing the accessible refrigeration system that slides out for cleanup and routine maintenance. Upon startup, the compressor's fan motor employs reverse motion for 20 seconds to blow debris, dirt, and dust off the condensing coil, ensuring efficient operation and reduced energy consumption. While this self-cleaning feature contributes to the unit's extended lifespan, regular preventative maintenance remains necessary. The capillary tube system utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant for cooling, while fans consistently circulate cold air, maintaining the interior at a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
