Its high-capacity, factory-balanced refrigeration system, featuring a self-contained capillary tube system that meters R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, ensures precise temperature maintenance. The electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors move a consistent volume of air, contributing to operational efficiency.

Enhancing the unit's lifespan, the fan motor employs a self-cleaning mechanism, blowing in reverse for the initial 20 seconds upon startup to keep the condensing coil clean. This feature reduces compressor run time, minimizes energy consumption, and helps maintain product temperature. While this self-cleaning feature is effective, routine preventative maintenance by users is essential for sustained efficiency. The condensing unit is conveniently accessible, sliding out for service and reachable from behind the front grille.

Accommodating 16.5 cases of 12-ounce bottles or 24 cases of 12-ounce cans, the True TD-50-18-S-HC offers versatile storage options. All three PVC-coated bin dividers are adjustable to maximize storage space.
