The GRSDS combines pre-focused infrared overhead heat with a thermostatically controlled, hard-coated heated base to provide consistent short-term food holding. The infrared top heat directs warmth toward the outer edges of the holding surface, where heat loss is greatest, while the heated base maintains temperatures between 185°F and 200°F (85°C–93°C). This combination helps maintain appropriate serving temperatures throughout service.

Coated, shatter-resistant incandescent lights illuminate the display area, enhancing product presentation while helping protect food products from accidental bulb breakage. Tempered glass side panels provide clear visibility of displayed items, while the hard-coated shelf offers a durable display surface for everyday commercial use. Adjustable dividers help organize products and keep them neatly arranged for convenient access.

The GRSDS series is available in single-, dual-, and triple-shelf configurations, allowing foodservice operators to select the display capacity that best suits their counter space and merchandising needs. Designed for commercial foodservice environments, the warmer comes standard in Glossy Gray, with optional Hatco Designer colors available to complement different décor styles. Standard equipment includes tempered glass side panels, hard-coated shelves, coated shatter-resistant incandescent lights, adjustable dividers, 4-inch (102 mm) legs, and a 6-foot (1829 mm) power cord with plug.

For installations subject to NSF requirements, units over 36 inches (914 mm) wide or weighing more than 80 lb (36 kg) must be sealed to the installation surface or raised using the included 4-inch (102 mm) legs.
